Amazon is adding its muscle to the pantheon of super heroes that comics nerds love to obsess over.
The online retail behemoth recently purchased ComiXology, an online comics retailer with 50,000 titles, including from Marvel and D.C as well as a variety of independent publishers, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.
Amazon is expected to offer the digital comics through its Kindle Fire and new Fire TV box and states the comics will still be available, for the time being, on Apple, Google and Samsung devices.
