Amazon is adding $1.4 billion to its Housing Equity Fund, bringing the total to $3.6 billion.
With the increased funding, the initiative is expected to provide money for more than 35,000 affordable homes across several regions. The fund is designed to assist moderate- to low-income residents in accessing affordable housing.
The fund was introduced in 2021.
