Officials with Empire Bank and the Republic Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon for Empire’s new Republic branch. The location, 1110 E. Independence St. in Republic, is the Springfield-based bank’s 17th branch and features a full line of retail banking services including a drive-through and automated teller machine.
