All-Star Sponsor

Great Southern Bank is the presenting sponsor of the 2008 Texas league All-Star Game at Hammons Field on June 25. At right, Springfield Cardinals General Manager Matt Gifford and Great Southern Marketing Director Teresa Chasteen-Calhoun on Oct. 30 showcase the game logo, which incorporates the Springfield Cardinals team logo and Hammons Field. Next year also marks Great Southern’s 85th anniversary.

Officials also announced that the St. Louis Cardinals would return to Hammons Field for the first time since the inaugural season in 2005. Exhibition games in Springfield are scheduled for March 28 and 29.
