They moved their retail pet food and dog-training business on April 17 to 3163 W. Republic Road in the Silverleaf Shopping Center.
Jackson, who offers dog-training classes at the store and at Oak Grove Community Center, 1538 S. Oak Grove St., said her natural pet food has gained popularity recently, especially after the recent national recall of contaminated pet food.
Jackson said her food is easier to metabolize and reduces allergies. A four-pound bag of dry dog food ranges from $7 to $10, she said.
“People are educating themselves more,” she said.
The Pet Shuttle Inc., a business owned by Laura Gott that taxis pets and offers pet grooming, is located next door.[[In-content Ad]]
The first southwest Missouri location of EarthWise Pet, a national chain of pet supply stores, opened; Grey Oak Investments LLC relocated; and Hot Bowl by Everyday Thai LLC got its start.
