Alex Rodriguez scores ABC News contributor role

Former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez will start working as an ABC News contributors, a source familiar with the matter told Variety.

He's spent the first months of his retirement from the New York Yankees as an analyst at Fox Sports.

Variety reports Rodriguez would make “occasional” appearances on ABC News programs that could include “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight” and “Nightline.”
