Posted online

One of the key tenants in the Ozark Marketplace development is set to open soon.

Batavia, Illinois-based Aldi has scheduled a Dec. 11 grand opening for its 1979 W. Waverly St. store in Ozark, according to a news release.

"At our new Ozark Aldi store, shoppers will find that every decision we make, from our product selection to store layout, is to provide our customers with the best products at the lowest possible prices of any national grocer," said Skyler Jones, regional vice president for Aldi, in the release.

The roughly 12,000-square-foot Aldi store in Ozark would employ 15-20 people, according to a spokesperson.

Aldi is part of the 26-acre Ozark Marketplace commercial development that's being built at the interchange of Highway 65 and South Street. Dutch Bros, McDonald’s, Plaza Tire Service and Casey’s are among other tenants on board, according to past reporting.
