Alaska Airlines has finalized its $1.9 billion acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines.
The combined company has a fleet of more than 360 airplanes and over 130 destinations.
The deal this week received approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation, on the condition that the airlines maintain the value of their frequent flyer programs and preserve several key routes.
