A Chicago two-flat where Al Capone, his wife, his mother and his sister formerly lived sold at twice the asking price.
The home sold April 5 for $226,000, above the asking price of $109,900.
Ryan Smith, the Re/Max Properties agent who represented the home for MTGLQ Investors, said investors purchased the house, not end users. Their plans for the home are unknown.
The house was put on the market in early February after its former longtime owner lost it in foreclosure.
