Akzo Nobel rejects 3rd offer from PPG Industries

Dutch chemicals company Akzo Nobel on Monday rejected a third buyout offer from American rival PPG Industries.

The latest bid valued Akzo Nobel at $27 billion.

PPG officials have said the company will make a public offer for Akzo Nobel and submit a draft offer to Dutch regulators by June 1.
