Airport jobs lead highest-paid city positions in St. Louis

Airport jobs are some of the most lucrative municipal positions in St. Louis, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

In the journal’s research of the highest-paid city employees, four of the top five worked at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport:

1. $189,626 - Rhonda Hamm-Niebrugge, director of airports

2. $156,818 - Jeff Rainford, chief of staff

3. $153,342 - Gerard Slay, airport senior deputy director

4. $151,222 - Susan Kopinski, airport deputy director - finance and administration

5. $150,877 - Cornell Mays, airport deputy director of planning and development

St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay was No. 8 on the list.
