Airbus cuts production plans for superjumbo jet

Airbus Group SE yesterday announced it would slow production of its A380 superjumbo jet.

Starting in 2018, the company will build 12 of the aircraft a year, down from 27 it build last year.

The planes cost $432.6 million each, though customers don’t pay list price.
