Short-term rental company Airbnb is laying off a quarter of its staff.
Founder and CEO Brian Chesky said that amounts to 1,900 of its 7,500 staff members.
Calling the coronavirus pandemic the “most harrowing crisis of our lifetime,” Chesky told employees that revenue in 2020 is projected to come in at half of 2019's amount. The company reportedly made $4.8 billion in sales last year.
