AIG names turnaround expert as CEO

American International Group selected a turnaround expert as its next CEO.

Brian Duperreault, 70, is seen as a short-to-medium term replacement for outgoing CEO Peter Hancock.

According to Reuters, Duperreault may only stay on for up to five years to help the company turn around its profits and groom a successor.
