AIDS Project of the Ozarks sponsored its 11th annual AIDS Walk on Oct. 8 at Phelps Grove Park. Approximately 300 people, and numerous pets, participated. The event, which focused on HIV and AIDS awareness, raised around $17,000 for APO. AIDS Project of the Ozarks, established in 1985, provides HIV testing, counseling and education, as well as case management and support for people with HIV/AIDS and their families.
