The local chapter of the American Institute of Architects in April presented design awards to eight projects and architects. Two juries reviewed a total of 31 projects. The professional jury comprised Carol Ross Barney, FAIA, of Ross Barney + Jankowski Architects; David Woodhouse, FAIA, of David Woodhouse Architects; and Andrew Metter, FAIA, of A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. All are from Chicago.|ret||ret||tab|

The public jury was chaired by Joe Daues of KOLR 10. Other members were Springfield Mayor Tom Carlson, Roberto Regaldo of Laughingwell Studios, Sarah Overstreet of the Springfield News-Leader, and Gary Rostic of Tara Homes.|ret||ret||tab|
