AIA Springfield 2003 Design Award recipient: SMSU Student Union Theater Addition

"This multipurpose theater is contained within an addition to the Southwest Missouri State University Student Union. Designed primarily for films, small musical groups and comedy club performances, the theater seats 250 in fixed stadium-seating theater seats, plus another 250 in movable chairs on a level multipurpose floor. The theater includes two lighting catwalks, a sound platform and lighting booth. Finishes in the theater are durable and economical, while still providing a theatrical' experience for the audience."
