Memorial Day is around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than getting out and enjoying the wonderful weather? Pack your baskets with the perfect picnic fare and, of course, don’t forget the wine. New accessories make it easier than ever to tote wines practically and stylishly.
As the temperatures rise, an oenophile’s taste for wine may change from the big bold or mellow red wines to lighter reds or more crisp wines, such as a sauvignon blanc, a lighter chardonnay or even a rosé. With rosés, don’t let the pink color mislead you; such wines are not always sweet. Some rosés can actually be quite dry.
Whether it’s at your favorite park or on your deck at home, get out and enjoy the summer days with good food and great wine. Please remember to drink responsibly.
