Description: Jennifer Wilson Architect designed a 6,000-square-foot addition to the south side of the archives building on the Greene County government campus. Great River Engineering of Springfield Inc. is the structural engineer and Colvin Jones Davis LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, with landscape architecture by Headland Landscape Architecture LLC. Storage space and a room for meetings and staff training will be added. The project is designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver certification, with use of regional and recycled materials, energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems, low-volatile organic compound paints and sealants, daylighting and rain gardens.
