Description: Jack Ball & Associates is the architect and interior designer for the Hollister R-V Board of Education's early childhood building, which will serve students in pre-kindergarten through first grade. Engineers are Great River Engineering of Springfield Inc., civil; Pinnacle Design Consultants LLC, structural; and LaRose & Schober Engineering Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. There will be 18 full-size classrooms, six half-size classrooms and full-size art and music rooms. The design can accommodate the addition of eight classrooms to the southeast and four to the southwest. There will be a media center and a multipurpose room, which also will function as a Federal Emergency Management Agency shelter. Completion is slated for April 2011.[[In-content Ad]]
