A&E Engineers: Scott Consulting Engineers PC

Neil D. Fossnight, PE, of Scott Consulting Engineers PC is the engineer for recently completed renovations to Walnut Street Apartments for Carlson Gardner Inc. and development manager DKO Consulting LLC. Stark Wilson Duncan Architects Inc. is the architect for the project, which comprised the renovation of four existing buildings in Springfield’s historic Walnut Street district. SCE provided site civil engineering, including demolition, paving and grading, storm-water management for drainage and erosion control, utility coordination and improvements for a unified parking lot in the rear, and associated sidewalks and landscape architecture. DCI Construction was the general contractor for the approximately $1.765 million project, which was completed in the spring. Funding was through Great Southern Bank and the Missouri Housing Development Commission’s Section 42 tax credit program. SCE also provided topographic, boundary, as-built and American Land Title Association surveying.
