A&E Engineers: Mettemeyer Engineering LLC

Mettemeyer Engineering LLC is the structural engineer for additions to the city of Nixa’s government plaza, including City Hall and the police station. Sapp Design Associates Architects PC is the architect. Other engineers are Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins, mechanical and Shaffer & Hines, civil. Shelenhamer Construction LLC is the general contractor. Terri West of Interior Planning Consultant Inc. is the interior designer for the approximately $3.9 million project. The 15,000-square-foot expansion of City Hall will house Nixa City Council chambers, record storage and inspections personnel. The existing City Hall space will be renovated and converted into a courts department. The police station expansion and renovation will include a new meeting room, an additional holding cell and a larger squad room. Completion is slated for July.
