A&E Engineers: Great River Engineering Inc.

Spencer Jones of Great River Engineering Inc. is the engineer for Indian Point Road improvements for Silver Dollar City. A general contractor has not yet been selected for the project, aimed at alleviating increased traffic and inconvenience, as well as addressing safety concerns for visitors to Silver Dollar City and several resorts and marinas on Indian Point Road. The project comprises the construction of a new Indian Point Road on the east side of existing SDC parking lots. Part of the old road will be used for multiple service lanes to deliver visitors to SDC and remove their vehicles from resort traffic. Crow’s Nest Road will be relocated outside of the SDC parking lot area, providing direct access to Indian Point Road, reducing the confusion of driving through parking lots and improving safety. Construction is slated for 2007.
