Pellham Phillips Architects and Engineers Inc. is the architect and the engineer for John Q. Hammons’ Embassy Suites & Conference Center in LaVista, Neb. The project, which features interior design work by Barbara Elliott Interiors, will cost in excess of $50 million. Located southwest of Omaha, Neb., Embassy Suites and Conference Center includes a seven-story atrium, 257 rooms and a 79,000-square-foot conference center with exhibition space, a catering kitchen, conference rooms and executive offices. The contemporary design uses traditional materials.

The estimated completion date is spring 2008.
