Private equity firms Advent International Corp. and Permira reportedly are nearing a deal to buy security-software firm McAfee Corp.
The deal is valued at $10 billion, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
McAfee's products are used in 182 countries across more than 600 million devices.
