Adidas unveils new 3D-printed shoe

Adidas debuted its newest shoe with a 3D-printed sole.

Dubbed Futurecraft 4D, the soles are springy and able to bounce back almost instantaneously.

The company plans to have 5,000 of the shoes ready for retail in the fall and winter. It then expects to mass produce them next year and make more than 100,000 pairs by the end of 2018.
