Adidas is suing Skechers again over shoe designs

Adidas has again filed suit against Skechers for allegedly copying its shoe designs.

The German sportswear maker claims Skechers copied its Springblade running shoe with the Mega Flex and Mega Blade lines.

Last fall, Adidas sued Skechers over a sneaker the company claimed was a lookalike version of its Stan Smith shoe. Earlier this year, a court granted a preliminary injunction in that case that prevented Skechers from selling two styles that had at that time been discontinued, as well as from using the word “Supernova” in a third style.

In the most recent case, Adidas is seeking compensation and a preliminary injunction.
