Adele’s ‘Hello’ rings in record-breaking digital sales

British singer Adele's song "Hello" set a single-week digital sales record, according to Billboard.

The lead single off her forthcoming album "25," the song is the first to move more than 1 million digital purchases in a week. In fact, it sold 1.1 million copies.

The song more than doubled the previous record: Flo Rida’s 636,000 downloads for “Right Round” in 2009.
