Ad revenue growth aids Google's 2Q profits

Google Inc. posted increased second-quarter profits, helped by strong growth in advertising revenue.

Advertising revenue rose 11 percent ot $16.02 billion, with the number of paid clicks increasing by 18 percent, according to Reuters.

Net income moved up to $3.93 billion from $3.35 billion a year earlier.
