Some 160,000 U.S. actors have gone on strike.
The Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists failed to reach an agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
It's the first time in 40 years that actors have gone on strike. It's also been more than 60 years since actors and writers have stopped work at the same time, according to Quartz.
