Accounting firm accepted into dealership consulting group

Springfield-based Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller CPAs PC was accepted as the southwest Missouri member of the CPA Auto Dealer Consultants Association.

According to a news release, the nationwide group's membership comprises CPA firms that provide specialized accounting, tax and consulting services to automotive dealers.

Companies selected for membership must demonstrate proficiency in serving auto dealers and show commitment to the industry.

"Running a successful automotive dealership has become more complicated," said KPM Shareholder Tammy Weller, in the release. "It's crucial that dealers have an adviser who understands their unique issues and can use this insight to assist them in improving their operations and profitability."

Through the association, members gain access to networking and educational resources. The association also sponsors the certified automotive financial manager education and certification program.[[In-content Ad]]
