Morelock-Ross Builders Inc. is the general contractor for the addition to an office building owned by Sachs Real Properties LLC. The new space comprises 35,000 square feet on three floors. Law offices for Aaron Sachs & Associates will fill the third floor and part of the second floor. The remainder of the second floor will be available for lease, and the ground level will be covered parking. BancorpSouth is the lender for the project, which has an estimated cost of $2.5 million. Bates & Associates Architects Inc. is the architect for the project, and the engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; Wells & Scaletty LLC, structural; and Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is roughly 90 percent complete and is scheduled to be finished by Oct. 1, said Jason Gundy, Bates & Associates project manager.
