Aaron Jernigan named among top producers

Mortgage Originator Magazine selected Aaron Jernigan of The Bank as one of its Top 200 originators for 2001. According to an announcement from The Bank, Jernigan ranked No. 97 on the list, based on his performance in 2001. During that year, Jernigan closed 502 home loans worth more than $58 million. Mortgage Originator Magazine is published by Pfingsten Publish-ing. Each year the magazine compiles a listing of the Top 200 originators, based on the dollar volume and number of loans originated. "Our focus at The Bank is on customer service and maximizing our customers' savings on each transaction," Jernigan said. He noted that since the fall of 2000, when The Bank introduced its mortgage banking operations, The Bank's annual mortgage production has grown from $12 million to more than $100 million. |ret||ret||tab|

He attributed that growth to The Bank's "commitment to serving our customers, a strong work ethic and our ability to utilize automation to close loans faster."|ret||ret||tab|

The Bank has its headquarters at 3939 S. Fremont. It has two other locations in Springfield and is planning to open a fourth location on East Kearney Street later this year. |ret||ret||tab|
