A Real Wingding

These strange symbols in the windows of the offices of Dake Wells Architecture aren’t random – they spell “modernism” in Wingdings symbols. The signs are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to grow its presence downtown and make known its focus on modern architecture – specifically to participants in the First Friday Art Walk. The signs, put up in early November, replaced pictures of famous modern architects. Co-founder Brandon Dake said new pictures will be up in time for January’s art walk event.
