Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Springfield Sunrise take a break Sept. 15 after completing the installation of playground equipment at the Family Violence Center. The equipment was purchased from Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. in Monett for $6,000; the money was raised through Sunshine Rotary fundraising activities. Carnahan-White Fence Inc. contributed by excavating holes for the equipment, while Brett Heidelberg and Yardscapes contributed landscaping work and hauled mulch to the site.
