Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors helped cut the ribbon Jan. 21 at Edible Arrangements, 1336 E. Battlefield Road. The Massachusetts-based company offers fresh fruit “bouquets,” filled with strawberries, pineapples, grapes, melons, bananas and pears. Jeni and Jim Huelskamp, holding the scissors above, are the Springfield franchisees for the company, which boasts more than 800 locations in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
