Serving eight counties in southwest Missouri, Citizens Memorial Hospital/Health Care Foundation (CMH) is a fully integrated health system that contributes to the health of communities by offering multigenerational services.

Benefits
CMH has taken a more holistic approach to our compensation structure that includes our expansive benefit package including a zero premium option for health and dental coverage, work/life balance, positive work environment and physical/mental wellness. Full-time, part-time and contract-D employees are eligible for benefits the first of the month following date of hire.
Our employee health plan includes vision and prescription drug coverage as well as wellness and employee services programs to help employees stop smoking, reduce stress, lose weight, or to improve their healthy lifestyle habits, plan for retirement and personal finance education. CMH also offers a zero premium option for preventative dental coverage. Also included the first month following date of hire, employees receive an employer-paid term life insurance policy and paid time off.
CMH automatically contributes money to employees’ retirement accounts in addition to a more traditional matched savings plan for retirement. Because we know investments can be difficult to keep current, employees have access to local investment advisers at no cost. Other employee benefits include cafeteria discounts, employee health screens, bereavement leave and jury duty leave.
A new benefit launch in 2022 is an on-demand pay program partnership with PayActiv. We are committed to supporting the health and well-being of our employees and we know that goes beyond physical health. The financial wellness of our employees matter and we have taken steps to support employees in achieving better financial health. With PayActiv, our employees can get early access to their money as they earn it with next day bank transfers and instant transfers. In addition to earlier access to earned wages, PayActiv also offers an array of financial wellness services to empower our employees to take control of their financial health.
Another new program launched in 2022 is an employee education loan forgiveness program. Employees eligible for participation include Hospital RNs/LPNs, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, radiology techs, therapists and respiratory therapists and Foundation RNs/LPNs and therapists. CMH/CMH Foundation will pay up to $5,000 a year for a maximum of $20,000 over four years to approved/qualified lenders.

Community Engagement
At the core of CMH culture is community involvement and engagement. We are committed to creating and sustaining programs that support wellness, disease prevention and charity.
CMH offers health programs to rural public and private schools, collaborates with local county health departments and offers senior-focused wellness programs to those 55 and older at the CMH Senior Health Center, Bolivar, and offers community education programs and health screenings.
