Officials with Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Metropolitan National Bank cut the ribbon Oct. 2 on the bank’s fourth Springfield location, 2835 E. Battlefield Road. The facility, valued at $700,000 based on a city building permit, is the 12th location overall for the financial institution.
