A-B InBev agrees to buy largest craft brewer in Los Angeles

As Anheuser-Busch InBev officials mull a pitch to buy SABMiller, creating a $245 billion brewing giant, the company is beefing up its craft portfolio.

The company agreed to purchase Los Angeles-based Golden Road Brewing for undisclosed terms. The largest craft brewery in Los Angeles County, Golden Road expects to sell 45,000 barrels of beer this year.

Golden Road joins Goose Island Beer Co., Blue Point Brewing, 10 Barrel Brewing and Elysian Brewing in A-B's craft portfolio.
