A-B buying Colorado’s Breckenridge Brewery

Anheuser-Busch made another U.S. craft brewery acquisition last week with the purchase of Littleton, Colo.-based Breckenridge Brewery.

The Breckenridge addition brings A-B’s total craft and import brewery acquisitions to seven, after the company announced Dec. 18 it would purchase Four Peaks Brewery in Arizona.

Expected to close in the first quarter of 2016, terms of the deal between A-B and Breckenridge were not disclosed, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

A-B’s Belgium-based parent company ­­– A-B InBev – also made an acquisition last week, announcing on Dec. 21 it would buy London beer maker Camden Town Brewery.
