“We have to be the example of not being negative,” says Chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, Glenna Wallace. Wallace says she likes to assign one negative person to a work group with several positive people so they are exposed to a positive way of thinking and working. She also says if you intend to be a leader, be willing to put in the extra time and effort required.
