Crain's Chicago Business reports the city is close to signing a deal for a large expansion of O'Hare International Airport's passenger area.
The $8.5 billion expansion project calls on 3 million additional square feet of terminal space and dozens of new gates by 2026.
The deal is expected to be officially unveiled and introduced to council members this week.
