$40M in projects proposed for STL’s Central West End

A developer is proposing a pair of projects in St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood that would renovate two mid-century buildings and construct a new six-story structure comprising stores, offices and apartments.

The Koman Group is behind both projects – the largest of which is the construction of a nearly $31 million mixed-use building on North Euclid Avenue. Two blocks away on Lindell Boulevard, the developers propose a $9 million renovation of the two-building Optimist International headquarters as offices.

The Euclid property was purchased last month and the Optimist complex is said to be under contract.
