“Achiever” is one way Laine Scholz describes herself.
“My brain has to be constantly stimulated,” she says. “I’ve learned that if I have my hands in a lot of different things, I don’t get bored and I don’t get stagnant.”
That realization about herself has been present in her career.
While she has been a co-owner of Garbo’s Pizzeria LLC since the early 2010s, the former nonprofit director became sole owner in 2023. In 2025, she helped husband Andy start Resolution Family Law, and now she’s got roles there and at the Chesterfield Village restaurant.
“My husband’s been an attorney for 25 years. He was just to the point where I was encouraging him to go on his own,” Scholz, 44, says. “I played a big role in that, mainly as his cheerleader.”
When not at the restaurant, Scholz is serving as office manager and legal assistant at Resolution Family Law.
