40 employers seek nearly 500 workers at job fair

The Missouri Job Center and the Ozark Region Workforce Development Board tomorrow are hosting a 40-employer hiring event.

The employers, including the city of Springfield, CoxHealth, Mercy Hospital Springfield, Guaranty Bank, Paul Mueller Co., JPMorgan Chase, Springfield Public Schools and SRC Holdings Corp., have more than 475 open positions combined, according to a news release.

A full list of the employers planning to attend the noon-4 p.m. event at the Missouri Career Center, 2900 E. Sunshine St., is available on the event’s Facebook page.

Open positions range from assistant city attorney and nurses to forklift operators, machinists and firefighters.
