Chemical manufacturer 3M Co. has entered a $10.3 billion settlement.
The settlement would resolve allegations that the company contaminated myriad U.S. public drinking water systems with potentially harmful compounds.
The deal would compensate water providers for pollution with so-called forever chemicals.
