Three glitzy New York high rises are dropping the Trump name.
Three Trump Place rental apartment buildings along the Hudson River will be renamed to just their street addresses this week after a group of residents petitioned for the change.
"We are assuming a more neutral building identity that will appeal to all current and future residents," said Marty McKenna, spokesman for Equity Residential, the company that has owned and managed the buildings since fall 2005.
Three other condo buildings in the complex that are managed by the Trump Organization will keep the Trump Place name.
