The Jasper County Commission gave its stamp of approval to nearly $2.3 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act Relief Fund grants in two recent funding rounds.
The county, which was allocated $14 million through the federal government, last month authorized an initial grant round of roughly $220,000.
In the funding rounds, the Carthage School District was the top recipient with a more than $1 million grant.
