Genetic testing firm 23andMe has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Company CEO Anne Wojcicki also resigned. She will remain on the company's board.
The bankruptcy filing follows a restructuring program announced last year in which 40% of the company's workforce was slashed.
