The suffocation deaths of two children prompted the recall on Friday of more than 2 million bean-bag chairs, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
According to CBS News, the recalled chairs have zippers that can be opened, allowing children to crawl inside. The recalled chairs, made by Ace Bayou Corp., sold for $30 to $100 prior to July 2013.
The victims were a 13-year-old Texas boy and a 3-year-old girl from Kentucky, according to the report.
The industry standard for bean-bag chairs is to have them remained closed and have zippers disabled.
